Welcome to Barnens Ö and Fiskeboda

Welcome to Stiftelsen Barnens Dag, established in 1980, and our facilities Barnens Ö and Fiskeboda, Sweden.

In total we have more than 400 houses and they all, in one way or another, serve the foundations main purpose - to create quality recreation for children. Each summer we have more than 3 000 children visiting us in different forms of summer camps and similar activities.

Barnens Ö, Väddö, Sweden 
Barnens Ö is an estate of almost two thousand acres of land with the sea on booth sides. Here we have 30 summer camp houses and many other houses. On the eastern side of Barnens Ö you will find the open sea all the way to Finland and on the western side is the archipelago.

Only 120 kilometres from Stockholm City you can find this fascinating place. The unseen combination of wilderness and culture, the harshness of the outer archipelago and the richness of the inner are some of the qualities that will greet you at Barnens Ö.

Fiskeboda, Julita, Sweden 
On the Fiskeboda peninsula there are about 15 different houses at your disposal. We have 300 beds in various standards.

At Fiskeboda we also have a camping site with 78 camping grounds, a small boat harbour and a restaurant with a fantastic view, a talented chef and a local food concept.

At Fiskeboda you can take lovely walks around the peninsula and look at the wild animals like beaver, sheep, elk and lots of birds. There are many places where you can stop and enjoy the view, take a bath or have a picnic.
We have three beaches and hundreds of private little spots for those who prefer a little more privacy.
